International Women’s Day (IWD) is a time to celebrate women’s achievements in the past. It is also a time to think about the opportunities (and lack thereof) they have today, and strive towards creating a more inclusive world for them in the future.
This display highlights women’s achievements and work across the ages in many areas: science, technology, the arts, music, and literature, as well as in politics and labor.
Celebrate IWD by taking something to read, to listen to, or to watch!

In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day, we are holding a “WISE IWD Dinner” at China Garden. During the dinner, you will have the chance to talk more about the IWD forum held on the same day, “Opportunities and Challenges for Women Pursuing an International Career”. In order to make your discussion at the dinner more fruitful, we expect you to attend the forum (4:30pm to 5:30pm) before you come to the dinner.
All female faculty and teaching staff are welcomed.
