Growing up in a concrete city devoid of snow, Janet discovered her passion for mountaineering during a Scout exchange in Canada. Despite facing numerous challenges, including limited resources and bureaucratic obstacles, she pursued her dreams with grit and determination. In 2022, she made a courageous decision to resign from her nursing job and chase her passion in Nepal, reigniting her competitive spirit. Competing without institutional support, Janet funded her travels herself and overcame self-doubt, ultimately achieving remarkable success in her sport.
