International Women’s Day (IWD) is a time to celebrate women’s achievements in the past. It is also a time to think about the opportunities (and lack thereof) they have today, and strive towards creating a more inclusive world in the future. This display highlights women’s achievements and work across the ages in many areas: science, technology, the arts, music, and literature, as well as in politics and labor.

Celebrate IWD by taking something to read, to listen to, or to watch. As this year's HKUST IWD 2025 theme states: Accelerate Action!
